In this article written by Jelani Cobb, he is reporting informing us about the tragedy which occurred Sunday night in Las Vegas at a Jason Aldean concert. During the concert a gunman was firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel. Through the night and into Monday morning there have been 50 fatalities and more than 500 injuries. In the article Cobb expresses his opinion that this mass shooting is a sign that our governmental officials need to create and enforce more regulations on gun control. He appeals to ethos and uses a reflective tone as he gives a multitude of examples of past shooting in recent years. Recent and previous shootings at night clubs, concerts, and other "attempts to inspire joy" are a few examples of the type of things people in the world are capable of doing. I agree with Cobb's idea that our government needs to take more precaution and create more regulations for weapons. The world we live in now has advanced its weapons in many ways.
